Common questions

Selling on Eleo — the essentials.

Does it cost anything to list on the Eleo marketplace?
No. Listing your products on the Eleo marketplace is free — there's no listing fee. Your store needs to be verified before it goes live and becomes discoverable to buyers.
What does verification involve, and does it cost anything?
Every seller completes an identity check (KYC) before their store can go live on the marketplace. Verification carries a one-time ₦1,000 fee, charged via Paystack, that covers the identity check.
How do I get paid?
Buyers pay you through Paystack — card, bank transfer, USSD, or mobile money. Your marketplace sales settle to your Eleo wallet, which you can withdraw from your dashboard to your bank account.
Can buyers find my store?
Once your store is verified and has at least one product live, it's discoverable in Eleo marketplace search and browsing — buyers anywhere in Nigeria can find and order from you.
Can I talk to buyers on WhatsApp?
Yes. Eleo's WhatsApp integration lets you message buyers about their orders directly from the number they already use.
Do I need to be based in a specific Nigerian city?
No. Sellers list from anywhere in Nigeria, from Lagos and Abuja to smaller markets and everywhere between — your store is discoverable to buyers nationwide once verified.
