Marketplace seller terms
Last updated: August 28, 2026
These terms apply when a merchant lists or sells through Eleo Marketplace, an Eleo-powered storefront or a custom domain. They form part of the Eleo Terms of Use.
1. Verification and account control
Every seller must complete owner identity verification and provide accurate business, contact and settlement information. We may request registration, ownership, address, licensing, product-source, settlement-account or other proportionate evidence. Tell us promptly of material changes and protect account access.
2. Listings and lawful trade
You are the seller of your goods and services. Listings, prices, stock, claims, images, taxes, licences, age restrictions and delivery promises must be accurate and lawful. Comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. Conditional categories require Eleo approval and all applicable licences, age-gating, advertising, delivery and jurisdictional controls.
3. Orders, fulfilment and consumers
Accept, reject and fulfil orders promptly; package safely; provide required receipts and disclosures; and respond to customers and Eleo. You must honour mandatory consumer rights and our Orders, Returns and Disputes Policy. Eleo may cancel an affected order or cooperate on a refund or chargeback where reasonably necessary.
4. Payments, fees and settlements
Payment methods depend on independent providers and their onboarding, rules and risk decisions. Eleo software availability does not guarantee that a provider will process your category or transaction. Fees are those disclosed in Eleo pricing or an order form. You are responsible for taxes and for a settlement account you are authorised to use.
Where contractually and lawfully permitted, Eleo or a payment provider may restrict a payment method, delay or hold settlement, set off valid refunds, fees or chargebacks, or require a reserve while a material risk or dispute is investigated.
5. Customer data and content
Use buyer data only for the order, support, legal compliance or separate marketing permission. Protect it, honour applicable privacy rights and follow our Data Processing Agreement when it applies. You retain ownership of your content and licence Eleo to host, format, promote and display it to operate the Services.
6. Custom domains
Custom-domain storefronts are discretionary and reviewed case by case. Eleo may require enhanced verification before or after activation, including evidence of registration, ownership, address, licences, product source and settlement-account control. Approval may be limited, withdrawn or conditioned to protect users, Eleo or providers.
7. Enforcement and termination
We may request information, restrict listings or payment methods, cooperate with refunds and chargebacks, suspend or terminate access, and report activity where required. We use proportionate measures and may act without advance notice where delay creates legal, fraud, safety or payment risk. You may stop selling, but accrued obligations survive.
8. Responsibility and contact
You will reimburse Eleo for reasonable losses and third-party claims caused by your goods, services, content, customer-data use or material breach. The liability terms in the Terms of Use apply. Questions or approval requests: [email protected].
