Bring your Square store into Eleo in minutes.
Bring your Square item library and customer directory into Eleo as they are. Upload the exports, pick which location's stock and prices to use, preview every item, and import — nothing already in Eleo is changed.
Everything that runs your day, mapped for you.
The importer reads Square's own records and creates the matching Eleo ones. You review before anything is written.
Items and variations
Item name, SKU, GTIN, price, default unit cost, category and stock. Each variation becomes its own product — "Logo Tee — Small" — with its own SKU, price and stock.
Locations
If your export covers several locations, you choose which one's stock and location price this Eleo store takes.
Vendors
Each item's default vendor becomes its usual supplier in Eleo, with the vendor code as the supplier's item code. Vendors not yet in Eleo are added as suppliers — add their contact details afterwards.
Tax
Items with every Square tax switched off are marked Exempt, shown in the preview before you import.
Customers
Name, phone, email, address, groups as tags, memo as a note, and email subscription status.
Upload the files you already export.
Export files
In Square Dashboard go to Items → Item library → Actions → Export library, and Customers → Import/Export → Export customers. Upload one or both files to Eleo.
Requires: A Square account with access to the item library and customer directory.
From Square to Eleo, start to finish.
- Step 1
Create your Eleo store
Sign up free, name your store and pick your currency. Two minutes.
- Step 2
Export from Square
Export your item library and your customer directory. Keep the files exactly as Square gives them.
- Step 3
Open Bulk Actions → Import from Square, Shopify or Loyverse
Drop the files in. Eleo recognises them, asks which location to take stock and prices from, and previews every item and customer — new or already in Eleo.
- Step 4
Import and watch it land
Rows are created in the background with a live progress page. Any row that fails can be downloaded, fixed and uploaded again.
Deliberately not imported.
We would rather tell you up front than move something wrongly.
Order and transaction history
Past sales stay in Square. Re-creating them would deduct stock twice and post revenue that pre-dates Eleo.
Variable-price items
Eleo needs a fixed price. The preview counts them; after the import, download the failed rows, add a price and upload that file.
Images and modifier sets
Square's item export carries no images or modifier details. Add photos on each product, and rebuild modifiers as Eleo product options.
Archived items
Left out so you start clean; the preview says how many.
Questions merchants ask before moving.
Will importing twice create duplicates?
I have several Square locations. Which stock comes across?
What happens to my vendors?
What about my sales history?
