What comes across

The importer reads Bumpa's own records and creates the matching Eleo ones. You review before anything is written.

Products

Name, description, SKU, barcode, selling price, cost price and current stock. Bumpa collections become Eleo categories.

Product variations

Each variation (e.g. Red / M) becomes its own product with its own SKU, price and stock, so nothing is summed or lost.

Customers

Name, phone (normalised to international format), email and Instagram handle — from the customers export, and from the buyers on your orders.

Bumpa API key

In Bumpa go to Settings → API key → Generate, paste the secret key into Eleo. We read your catalog and orders once; the key is never stored.

Requires: Bumpa Growth or Scale plan (API access).

Export files

Download Products (Excel), Customers (Excel) and Orders (CSV) from the Bumpa dashboard and upload whichever you have.

Step by step

From Bumpa to Eleo, start to finish.

  1. Step 1
    Create your Eleo store

    Sign up free, name your store and pick your currency. Two minutes.

  2. Step 2
    Open Bulk actions → Import from Bumpa

    Choose the API key lane or upload your export files, then Preview.

  3. Step 3
    Review the preview

    See every product and customer that will be created, flagged 'new' or 'already in Eleo'. Untick a kind if you only want products, or only customers.

  4. Step 4
    Import and watch it land

    Rows are created in the background with a live progress page and a per-row report. Re-run any time — existing records are skipped, never changed.

What stays behind

Deliberately not imported.

We would rather tell you up front than move something wrongly.

Order history

Past orders stay in Bumpa. Re-creating them as sales would deduct stock twice and post revenue that pre-dates Eleo. Your customers come across with a clean slate.

Unpublished products (API lane)

Bumpa's API only lists published products. Use the products export file for drafts.

FAQ

Questions merchants ask before moving.

Do I need a Bumpa paid plan to move my data?
Bumpa gates both its API key and its export downloads to the Growth and Scale plans. If you are on Starter or Pro, upgrade for one billing period, run the import, then cancel — or type your catalog into Eleo's product template instead.
Will importing twice create duplicates?
No. The preview matches products by SKU, barcode or name and customers by phone or email; anything already in your Eleo store is skipped.
Is my Bumpa API key stored?
No. It is sent once with the preview request, used to read your store, and discarded. Revoke it in Bumpa afterwards if you like.
What happens to my order history?
It stays in Bumpa. Eleo imports the customers behind those orders so your CRM is complete, but does not re-create the sales.
