What comes across

Everything that runs your day, mapped for you.

The importer reads Shopify's own records and creates the matching Eleo ones. You review before anything is written.

Products

Title, description, SKU, barcode, price, cost per item and stock. Shopify's product type becomes the Eleo category and the vendor becomes the brand. Both the older and the current Shopify CSV formats are read.

Variants

Each variant becomes its own product — "Classic Tee — Small" — with its own SKU, price and stock, so nothing is summed or lost.

Images

Product and variant images are downloaded from Shopify's CDN after the import and attached to each product; the first one becomes the main image.

Tax

Products you don't charge tax on are marked Exempt, shown in the preview before you import.

Customers

Name, phone, email, default address, tags, notes and email-marketing consent.

How to get your data

Upload the files you already export.

Export files

In Shopify Admin go to Products → Export and Customers → Export, choose CSV, and upload both files (or just one) to Eleo.

Requires: Any Shopify plan that can export products or customers.

Step by step

From Shopify to Eleo, start to finish.

  1. Step 1
    Create your Eleo store

Sign up free, name your store and pick your currency. Two minutes.

  2. Step 2
    Export from Shopify

Products → Export and Customers → Export. Keep the files exactly as Shopify gives them.

  3. Step 3
Open Bulk Actions → Import from Square, Shopify or Loyverse

Drop the files in. Eleo recognises each one ("Looks like a Shopify products export") and shows a preview: every product and customer, flagged new or already in Eleo.

  4. Step 4
    Import and watch it land

Rows are created in the background with a live progress page. Any row that fails can be downloaded as a spreadsheet, fixed and uploaded again.

What stays behind

Deliberately not imported.

We would rather tell you up front than move something wrongly.

Order history

Past orders stay in Shopify. Re-creating them as sales would deduct stock twice and post revenue that pre-dates Eleo.

Archived products and gift cards

Archived products are left out so you start clean; gift cards are set up in Eleo itself. The preview says how many of each were skipped.

Multi-location stock

Shopify only puts stock in the product CSV for single-location stores. Its separate inventory CSV is not read — set opening stock per store in Eleo.

FAQ

Questions merchants ask before moving.

Will importing twice create duplicates?
No. Products are matched by SKU, barcode or name and customers by phone or email; anything already in your Eleo store is skipped and never changed. Re-running an import only adds what is missing.
What happens to my variants?
Each variant becomes its own product named after the product and its options — "Hoodie — M / Black" — with that variant's SKU, barcode, price, cost and stock.
Do my product images come across?
Yes. Image URLs in the Shopify export are downloaded after the import finishes and attached to the products. A broken image link is noted on that product's row; the product still imports.
What about my order history?
It stays in Shopify. Eleo imports your customers so your CRM is complete, but does not re-create past sales.
