Customer Management

Add, edit, search, and manage your customers from a single place. Track orders, debts, store credit, and communication preferences.

Adding Customers

From the Suite Dashboard

  1. 1

    Navigate to Customers

Open the sidebar and click Customers. You will see your customer list.

  2. 2

    Click "Add Customer"

Click the Add Customer button in the header card.

  3. 3

    Enter customer details

Enter the customer's phone number (required) and optional details: first name, last name, email, and date of birth. Eleo checks for duplicate phone numbers — if a customer with that number already exists, you'll be notified.

From Eleo AI

You can also create customers by asking Eleo AI:

  • “Create a customer with phone 08012345678, name Bola Ahmed”
  • “Add a new customer — phone 0901234567”

Customer Profiles

Click any customer in your list to see their detail page with these tabs:

  • Details — Contact info, phone numbers, email, social handles, communication preferences
  • Intelligence — RFM segment, churn risk score, lifetime value (Growth+ plan)
  • Orders — Order history with totals
  • Update — Edit contact details
  • Audit Trail — All changes to this customer record

Search and Filtering

The customer list supports:

  • Text search — Search by name or Instagram username
  • Phone number — Exact phone number lookup
  • Sales channel — Filter by which channel the customer came from
  • Sort — By order count or total order amount

Managing Debtors

Navigate to Customers > Debtors to see all customers with outstanding balances, sorted by highest debt first.

Eleo AI shortcut

Ask Eleo AI: “Who are my biggest debtors?” or “How much does customer Bola owe?”

Store Credit

Store credit is a balance held on a customer's account that can be applied to future orders. Manage store credit from the customer's detail page.

Customer Notes

Add notes to any customer from their detail page or via Eleo AI. Notes are visible to all team members with customer view permissions.

Customer Tags

Tags are user-defined labels you can apply to customers (e.g., “VIP”, “wholesale”, “seasonal”). Tags are different from automatic RFM segments — you control them manually.

Communication Preferences

Each customer has preference toggles:

  • Marketing opt-in — Can receive promotional messages
  • Transactional messages — Order confirmations, receipts
  • Service updates — Product/service announcements
  • Do not contact — Blocks all outreach (with reason tracking)
