Supplier details
Each supplier record stores the following information:
- Business name and trading name — The legal entity name and any alternate trading name.
- Contact information — Primary and additional contacts with name, email, phone, and address.
- Bank information — Bank name, account number, and routing code for processing payments.
- Tax ID — The supplier’s tax identification or VAT number.
- Payment terms — Default payment terms (e.g. Net 30, Net 60) used when creating purchase orders.
- Notes — Free-text notes for any additional information about the supplier relationship.
Supplier performance
Over time, Eleo tracks key performance metrics for each supplier based on your procurement history:
- Delivery accuracy — How often the supplier delivers the correct quantities (based on GRN vs PO comparisons).
- On-time delivery rate — The percentage of deliveries that arrive by the expected date.
- Price consistency — Whether invoice prices match agreed PO prices, flagged through reconciliation.
- Order history — A log of all purchase orders, deliveries, and payments for the supplier.
Use these metrics to evaluate supplier reliability and make informed decisions about which suppliers to continue working with.

Always verify bank details directly with your supplier before making the first payment. Keeping this information current prevents payment failures and delays.
