Financial Reports

Generate profit & loss statements, cash flow summaries, budget variance reports, and other financial reports.

The Financial Reports module lets you generate, view, and export detailed reports that summarise your business’s financial performance. Reports pull data from across the Financial Hub — sales, expenses, budgets, and accounting records — to give you a clear picture of where you stand.

Available reports

• Profit & Loss Statement — A complete income statement showing revenue, cost of goods sold, gross profit, operating expenses, and net profit for any period.
• Cash Flow Summary — An overview of cash inflows and outflows, including operating, investing, and financing activities.
• Budget vs Actual — Compares your budgeted amounts against actual spending for each cost classification, highlighting variances and overruns.
• Expense Breakdown — A detailed breakdown of all expenses grouped by category and cost classification, with trend analysis over time.
• Revenue Trends — Historical revenue data charted over time, showing growth patterns, seasonal trends, and comparisons across periods.

Generating a report

   Navigate to Reports

   Go to Finance → Financial Reports from the sidebar.

   Select report type

   Choose the type of report you want to generate from the report selector (e.g. P&L Statement, Budget vs Actual).

   Choose date range

   Set the start and end dates for the reporting period. You can use preset ranges (this month, this quarter, this year) or specify custom dates.

   Apply filters

   Optionally filter by store location, expense category, or other dimensions depending on the report type.

   Generate and view or export

   Click Generate to view the report in the dashboard. From the report view, you can export to PDF or CSV for sharing, printing, or further analysis.
