Product Bundles

Combine multiple products into a single sellable bundle with flexible pricing.

Product bundles let you group two or more existing products together and sell them as a single item. Bundles are a powerful way to offer value packs, meal deals, gift sets, or starter kits. Customers see and purchase the bundle as one line item, while Eleo automatically tracks and deducts stock for each component product behind the scenes.

How bundles work

A bundle is a special product type that references other products as its components. When a bundle is sold, the stock level of each component is reduced by the quantity specified in the bundle definition. The bundle itself does not hold independent stock — its availability is determined entirely by the availability of its components.

Creating a bundle

  1. 1

    Navigate to Inventory → Products

Open the Products list from the sidebar.

  2. 2

Click “Add Product” and select Bundle

Click the Add Product button, then choose the Bundle product type at the top of the form. The form will update to show a component selector instead of the standard stock fields.

  3. 3

    Add component products

Search for and select the products that make up the bundle. For each component, specify the quantity included. For example, a “BBQ Starter Kit” might contain 1x Charcoal Bag, 1x Lighter Fluid, and 2x Skewer Pack.

  4. 4

    Set the bundle price

    Choose a pricing strategy:

    • Fixed price — Set a single price for the bundle regardless of component prices. Ideal for promotional deals where you want to offer a discount on the combined total.
    • Sum of components — The bundle price is calculated automatically as the total of all component selling prices. This keeps the bundle price in sync when individual product prices change.
  5. 5

    Save the bundle

Click Save. The bundle is now available for sale in your POS, storefront, and order forms just like any other product.

Bundle stock depends on components

A bundle cannot be sold if any one of its component products is out of stock. The effective stock of a bundle equals the lowest available quantity among its components (divided by the required quantity per component). Keep component stock topped up to avoid unexpected bundle unavailability.

You can include a bundle as a component in another bundle for more advanced combinations, but be mindful of the stock chain this creates.
